Images Of Barnevelder Chickens

If you forget me ... (Pablo Neruda)

U No poem beautiful, realistic,
hard and soft at once, right ... simply
that I dedicate to someone one who will recognize ... or not ...

looking for me or not ... Someone forget ... or not.

If you forget me - Si Tu Me Olvida

If you forget

I want you to know

something.

You know what it is:

if I look

the crystal moon, the branch Red

the slow autumn at my window,

if I touch

near the fire

the impalpable ash

or the wrinkled body of wood,

everything carries me to you,

as if everything that exists,

aromas, light, metals,

were little boats that sail

toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

However,

so little by little you stop loving me

I'll stop loving you gradually.

If suddenly

you forget

do not look for me,

since I shall already have forgotten.

If you think long and crazy

wind flags

that passes through my life

and you decide

let me in edge

heart where I have roots,

think

that day

at the same time,

I will lift the arms

and my roots will set off

search other land.

But

if everyday

hourly

you feel that you are destined for me

with implacable sweetness.

If every day goes

a flower on your lips to seek me,

O my love, oh my,

in me all that fire is repeated,

in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,

my love feeds on your love, beloved,

and during your life will be in your arms

no escape from the mine.
